We’re a company that truly values our employees - you’re our most valuable asset We are looking for an assertive and creative Technical SEO Manager to join our team and take responsibility for optimizing our websites to ensure they meet the technical requirements of search engines. Your primary focus will be on improving the structure, performance and accessibility to enhance search engine rankings of websites and creating clear roadmaps and evidence-based strategies to deliver results for clients. Your tasks will include: Improving Functionality: Ensuring proper site functionality and all the best SEO practices are implemented, working hand-in-hand with the developers to achieve this. Boosting Traffic: Implementing keywords strategically across sites to improve intended rankings. Improving User Experience: Ensuring that pages render properly across devices and are registered in the preferred language of the user to improve the UX of the sites. Increasing Click-Through Rates: Improving the click-through rate of organic listings by using your off-site SEO tactics, including schema markup and metadata optimization. Increasing Conversions: Improving all technical aspects of the websites, from speed to proper interlinking and improving your underlying conversation rate. Research: Performing competitor research and analysis to stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends and best practices - using this to implement new SEO tactics. Client Meetings: Attending new business meetings to gain a full understanding of what KPIs the client expects and to provide consultancy to these clients. Required Qualifications/Knowledge: Well-versed with HTML, CSS, JS and site architecture. Ability to make calculated changes in the website content. Theoretical understanding of on and off-page SEO strategies, including backlink profiles. Hands-on experience in opening and managing client accounts on Google Analytics and Google Search Console and tools like Moz, Ahrefs, SEMRush, and other relevant SEO tools. Functional knowledge of Chrome DevTools, structured data markup, content analysis tools and AMP. Proficiency in managing robots.txt files, canonical tags, pagination and redirects. Conceptual knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization and UX principles and practices. Broad understanding of social media platforms and their influence on SEO practices. Agency experience would be given preference. Anticipates common website problems and provides detailed analysis along with performance recommendations. Must possess excellent verbal/written communication and analytics/problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal teams and manage projects with clients. Motivation to stay up-to-date on the latest trends within the industry and research market competition levels to create acute SEO strategies. Capable of working as part of a team and independently. Assertive enough to voice opinions in front of project managers, senior managers and leadership for the larger good of projects. Experience managing large and complex projects.
