JobSummary:
TheCouncil is looking for a high calibre project and programmeportfolio manager to help shape and deliver mix tenure housingdevelopments to support the significant growth across the borough(c. 2b intotal).
This is anexciting and varied role that puts the individual in charge ofmanaging some of the Council s key mix tenure housing schemes andaiming for excellence on a personal level across a number ofportfolios interfacing with both internal departments (EducationGreenspaces Town Centres and operational estate departments) andexternal consultant teams and developmentpartners.
Thepost holder will report to the Assistant Director of DevelopmentPartnerships & Regeneration. The role will also involveworking with Strategic Directors Directors Assistant Directors andother service leads and Housing Economy and Placemaking to ensureconsistent strategic alignment and reporting directly to relevantBoards and senior Council groups on a number of strategicportfolios.

EssentialExperienceRequired:
Experience ofworking at senior management level in the delivery of project/programmes within a Local Government environment isessential.
Experience ofhousing and nonhousing led regeneration compulsory purchase ordersland assembly and joint venture partnerships to facilitatedevelopments in key areas of the borough isessential.
Experience withpractical delivery of schemes from inception to occupation andproject closure (post defects resolution period). i.e. RIBA stages07 isessential.
Experience ofdeveloping a strong network of contacts within the public andprivate sectors isessential.
EssentialQualificationRequired:
Agood general standard of education written and good verbal skillsisessential.
