Class 1 Night Driver Immediate Start in Tewkesbury
Pure Staff are recruiting for Class 1 Night Drivers for the following role below.
Class 1 Night Driver Pay Rates:
Nights: £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
Weekends & Bank Holidays: £19.00 per hour PAYE ONLY
Please note, the above rates quoted do not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately.
Candidates of Pure Staff DO NOT pay weekly Umbrella Margins and/or Payroll Processing Fees.
Class 1 Drivers required immediately for temporary work for a client who specializes in distributing fresh milk and dairy products across the UK. Our customer in Tewkesbury is one of our largest clients based in the Gloucestershire area and is well known for treating their drivers well based on previous and current positive feedback.
This family-run business is looking for drivers to join their smoothly run operation on a temporary basis.
The customer is looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers on Nights who are flexible to work Monday-Friday and weekends.
Duties of a Class 1 Driver working on Nights:
* Easy trunking to an RDC
* Store deliveries of cages
* Up to 4 drops if carrying out store deliveries
* Flexibility to work different contracts
* The ability to undertake manual handling
The ideal HGV Class 1 driver will:
* Have a valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
* 6 months experience is preferred but not essential
* Valid CPC Card
* Valid Digital Card
* Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes).
Start times can vary, but we are looking for Class 1 Drivers on Nights who are available to start around 20:00 - 22:00. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law, up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
