Daley Recruitment are seeking for multiple Trade counter sales assistants on a permanent position for a builder merchant company for their brand new branch in Acton.
You will be working out of the New Southgate branch for first 4- 6 months while the depot is waiting to open.
Starting Salary between £29,000- £30,000 per year
Role:
- Monday to Friday (Could be required on a Saturday)
- Shift Pattern: 07:00 - 16:00
- 30 Minute break
- 42.5 Hours per week
- Temp to perm
Responsibilities:
- Serving and greeting customers
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing phone calls
- Taking orders for deliveries and ensuring that the delivery is completed by transport
- Taking both card and cash payments
- Helping customers with any queries or advice on products
- Doing regular stock take
- Dealing with any customer complaint's
- Knowing all promotions deals at that period of time
- Balancing cash registers and receipts
- Following company policies with sales and returns
Requirements:
- Experience working in building merchants or trade industry on a trade counter
- Excellent customer service skills
- Great communication
- Good standard of literacy and numeracy
- Good computer knowledge including word, excel
- Must be physically fit
- Team player willing to go the extra mile
- Punctual
- Able to problem solve
