Remote or hybrid working: Public Transport Travel Expenses covered with Zones 1-6
Illuminate Productions is a London-based non-profit art organisation; we commission and produce groundbreaking and award-winning, high impact art installations and interactive experiences in unusual yet accessible environments to engage and inspire a universal audience.
We bring together emerging and established artists, organisations, and individuals in experimental partnerships to make site-specific work in challenging contexts. Over the past 15 years, we have commissioned, curated, and produced more than 250 exhibitions and events.
As we continue to push boundaries, we’re looking to build a sustainable future that ensures our art reaches new heights and audiences.
The Role:
We’re seeking a Business Development & Growth Associate who’s as passionate about art as they are about driving business success. In this role, you’ll be crafting strategies that secure Illuminate Productions’ financial future. From negotiating leasing contracts for our installations to identifying commercial opportunities that align with our artistic vision, you’ll be at the forefront of turning creativity into a sustainable enterprise.
What You’ll Do:
1. Strategic Partnerships: Identify and secure partnerships with commercial clients, venues, and sponsors that align with our brand and artistic mission.
2. Revenue Generation: Develop and implement strategies to drive in-house revenue, including the creation of profitable leasing contracts and exploring new revenue streams.
3. Market Expansion: Research and pursue opportunities to expand our market presence tapping into new sectors and audiences.
4. Proposal Development: Craft compelling proposals and pitches that highlight the value of our installations and experiences.
5. Sustainability Initiatives: Collaborate with internal teams to identify and execute on strategies that ensure long-term financial sustainability, including cost management.
6. Contract Negotiation: Support negotiations for leasing agreements, sponsorships, and align with our strategic goals.
7. Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on business development efforts, using data to refine strategies and maximize our growth potential.
