SATs Booster Teaching Assistant required to deliver Maths and English interventions - Y6 Experience required.
Position: Year 6 Maths and English Intervention Teacher
Location: Blackpool (FY1)
Experience: Y6 SATs Experience and at least one year experience working in a mainstream school setting
Contract Duration: Work ASAP until February 17th 2025.
CPD Opportunities: Opportunities such as Team Teach and Autism Awareness Training available through Teaching Personnel.
The role we are currently recruiting for is in a mainstream primary school in the Bispham area. The client school is looking for the ideal candidate to start as soon as possible, at least until the summer term. The Head teacher is supportive and is keen to improve standards in her school. The most recent OFSTED grading for the school was ‘Outstanding’, and the Head teacher is looking to maintain this standard. She has requested staff members who are committed to the children and who go above and beyond to provide the best opportunities for them. The school will support the member of staff to integrate well and become a full part of the team.
Requirements for the role:
1. You will need to hold a ‘PASS’ or equivalent in Maths and English.
2. Have experience in UKS2.
3. Have good behaviour management techniques.
4. Be committed to working hard to support progress.
While working with Teaching Personnel, you can expect to be paid appropriately (usually £90 per day, based on 6.5 working hours). You will also have access to subsidised professional development courses, accredited and certified.
