Job overview We are looking for enthusiastic Matrons Assistant to join our busy Bexhill Irvine Unit. You will be required to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting the matron. You will be required to work alongside nursing staff, consultants and doctors Bexhill hospital is a small community hospital set in a town which has a lot to offer with beautiful sea views, picturesque countryside and is steeped in history. This will include; typing letters and reports as required in a timely fashion, maintaining electronic diaries. taking and relaying messages, by phone or in person, and deal with routine queries. The post holder will deal promptly with incoming and outgoing mail. Enter data accurately on department systems, assist with meetings; including room booking, preparation of supporting documents, arranging catering and taking notes. You will assist with monitoring sick levels, ordering stationery, assist in the management of complaint responses. The post holder will undertake general office duties e.g. photocopying/filing/sending /receiving / managing emails. You will record mandatory training / absence / study leave for team. You will process travel and other expenses forms and assist with other Trust related administration duties relevant to the post, as assigned by the Matron or relevant colleague.
