WHAT TO EXPECT
In this role, you will support the delivery of EMA BEV Battery Unit programmes and their interdependencies in support of JLR's strategy for our future range of electrified vehicles.
Your tasks will involve the management and tracking of programme planning, health, and adherence to JLR Processes. You will be required to work with cross-functional stakeholders from all areas of the business to ensure programmes are delivered to cost, quality, and time.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Provide support and assistance of projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the planned outputs to support the delivery of battery unit programmes.
* Coordinate the reporting of key programme metrics as defined by the area.
* Use standardised project management tools to support a smooth project delivery.
* Carry out any risk assessment on projects to ensure contingency plans are in place.
* Effective stakeholder management and contracting to ensure projects add value and are aligned to stakeholder expectations.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
* Experience of process improvement and working in a project support role in Manufacturing or Engineering.
* Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred.
* Analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven experience of stakeholder management.
