Premier Recruitment Group has the privilege to recruit on behalf of our very prestigious client based in Dartford, Kent. We are recruiting for an experienced and forward-thinking Management Accountant. This is a full-time and initially 6-month contract position with a view of going permanent and working for a very well-established company. Very interesting and varied role with a scope for progression. A hybrid model is applicable for this role.
Duties:
1. Ensure supplier invoices are processed using critical thinking and that the transactions reach the correct Trial Balance codes.
2. Manage the selection, approval, and payment of supplier invoices within the due date. Liaise with vendors as needed.
3. Timely and correct completion of bank reconciliations.
4. Recording of bank receipts and manual payments in SAP.
5. Completion of monthly inter-company reconciliations and the relevant confirmations.
6. Knowledge of handling transactions in multiple foreign currencies.
7. Prepare a number of balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
8. Lead the AR collection activity on a monthly basis.
9. Handle VAT return submissions in Norway and Sweden.
10. Keep the reconciliations and task management on Blackline up-to-date.
11. Assist in any internal/external audits.
12. Assist Head of Accounting & Compliance in any adhoc project.
13. Approach the role in a flexible manner and be prepared to adapt to requirements outside of the immediate role that are essential to the organisation.
Skills / Experience:
1. Qualified AAT or CAT and studying towards a professional qualification from a recognised accountancy body (e.g. CIMA, ACCA).
2. Minimum of 3 years accounts experience.
3. SAP experience (highly desirable).
4. Experience of Blackline (desirable).
5. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
6. Ability to use initiative and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
