PMO Manager / Lead (Utilities) Utilities Hybrid: 1 day per week in Warwick office 6 months £550 per day In short: We're seeking a centralised, independent PMO Manager / Lead to sit within a Cyber Security programme covering IT and OT and we'd like the resource to establish a core PMO programme to support the programme managers. In full: Background The Security Strategy and Investment function covers delivery of projects for IT and OT security with 3 programme managers with PSO's, with a primary driver to achieve the Cyber Assessment Framework before December 2027. There is a requirement for a PMO lead to have oversight of the price cost deliverables and RAIDD process ensuring regulatory Price Control Deliverable targets are met and risk is managed to achieve the enhanced profile outcomes. Key Responsibilities To support project managers to manage and maintain risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and track Price Control Deliverables set out by the Regulator and other general support required Responsible for reporting of critical Risks, Issues and management of interdependencies across the IT and OT Security portfolio of projects. Tracking through the Price Control Deliverables working with the Programme Planners to ensure project plans align to delivery dates set out by the regulator. Reporting any slippages to the programme managers and sponsors ensuring mitigation actions are tracked and delivered Provide support to other PMO / PSO colleagues and prepared to step in where necessary to help co-ordinate reports, collate, analyse, evaluate and manipulate data, records, maintain libraries, registers and wider PMO activities where required. Provide adhoc support to Programme Managers Key Knowledge/Experience In-depth knowledge of RAIDD Management (mandatory) Knowledge and experience of all PMO functions and processes Experience of PMO template creation, standards and best practice Collating reports on behalf of the project manager and any board packs required Knowledge of change and delivery methods and associated controls (eg: PRINCE2, MSP) Have knowledge of Programme Management and governance Frameworks Applications and tools (eg: SharePoint, MS Project, MS Office,) MI tooling (ADO, BI) (desirable) Working in a regulated environment or regulatory projects Experience of MoR (desirable) Experience of tracking data across multiple projects Key Skills Required Build relationships with project managers, project planner and stakeholders through RAIDD reviews Be able to provide excellent customer service by empathy engagement and collaboration with team members, stakeholders and key business functions Be able to report key risks, issues and manage interdependencies across multiple projects Provide risk reports such as heat maps and trends Support programme manager in presentation of key RAIDDs Support mitigation of high impacting risk and issues through to completion of those actions Able to understand price control deliverables and track working with project planner and provide progress reports Able to escalate key blockers for key issues Candidates will ideally show evidence of the above in their CV in order to be considered.Please be advised if you haven't heard from us within 48 hours then unfortunately your application has not been successful on this occasion, we may however keep your details on file for any suitable future vacancies and contact you accordingly.
