Key Responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Property Solicitor:
Managing a diverse portfolio of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leasing arrangements, and development projects.
Advising clients on a broad range of commercial property issues, delivering pragmatic, commercially driven legal solutions.
Leading negotiations and preparing complex contracts, leases, and associated documentation.
Offering strategic legal advice on investment and property portfolio management to support long-term client goals.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a key contact point for commercial property matters.
Supporting the development of junior team members through mentoring and supervision.
Keeping abreast of legal developments and market changes to ensure clients receive current and strategic guidance.
Contributing to the wider growth of the firm through business development and networking activities.About You:
Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 8 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial property law.
Proven track record handling high-value, complex transactions.
Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to cultivate client trust and loyalty.
Previous experience leading or mentoring teams is desirable.
Commercially astute, proactive, and strategically minded.
Organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
