Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant

Salary Scale: £80-£100
Contract Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
* As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will provide tailored support to students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
* Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualised support plans.
* As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning environment.
* Develop and deliver interventions designed to improve student engagement and well-being.
* As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will work closely with students, families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEMH students, is advantageous.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting students’ emotional and educational needs.
* Initiative and a willingness to collaborate with the teaching team.
