Personal AssistantSalary - £40,000+ BonusLocation - Stoke On TrentJob Overview Our client who are a global distributor are looking for a Personal Assistant to provide extensive, high level professional secretarial and administrative support to the MD. Your role would include prioritising meetings and managing any resulting queries, reminding daily schedules as well as protecting the MD’s time by screening, researching, managing correspondence, messages, calls, visitors and preventing interruptions as requested. You will attend all MD meetings, produce high quality minutes, distribute and manage action points and pro-actively anticipate assistance needed by identifying problems, needs, options and solutions before being asked. All of this while delivering exceptional and consistent service levels and maintaining highest levels of discretion and confidentiality. Ad hoc secretarial support may also be provided to Board of Directors.Key ResponsibilitiesManage MD’s time, appointments, and daily schedule to high standards.Coordinate diaries, provide reminders, and organize tickets, travel, and bookings.Welcome and accompany visitors, attend meetings/events, and support UK/European conferences (some travel/overnight stays required).Offer occasional personal support as needed.Handle expenses, receipts, and maintain accurate records/files.Deliver secretarial services: manage calls, correspondence, reports, meetings, and business profiles.Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure knowledge of business activities and procedures.Adhere to security, health, and safety protocols.Contribute to projects, research, and other business needs.Take ownership of personal development with a clear action plan.Requirements:Strong IT, typing & shorthand skills with business admin and executive PA experienceDependable and organised with ability to work confidently under pressure & manage own deadlinesTrustworthy, discrete and diligent with an impeccable eye for detail and methodical approachCommercial and pro-active with ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environmentEnergetic with a flexible approach to deliver exceptional service whilst maintaining a calm impartiality
