The Role:
As a Fire Safety Manager, you will lead the response in ensuring Bristol City Council remains compliant with all relevant and upcoming fire safety regulations. You'll also need a fire safety-related qualification and membership to a fire-related professional body. Softer skills required include strong communication skills, the ability to work as a team, and the ability to formulate and articulate strategies and plans.
Essential Requirements:
* Fire safety qualification or equivalent.
* Professional membership to IFE and/or IFSM, or equivalent.
* Significant experience with fire safety management in a housing context.
* Knowledge of fire safety regulations and British Standards.
* Strong communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
Please note that this role is subject to a Basic DBS Check.
