We are now reaching the next stage of our exciting project and would like you to join us in our Housing Innovations Project!
This post is available on a temporary basis as part of the project team involved in the developing and implementation of the new Housing Management System. It is expected that the post will be for a period of 12 months – subject to the progress of the implementation project.
Reporting to the Allocations workstream lead you will be responsible for the process or set of processes related to waiting list, voids and allocations.
The assistant will work with the Allocations Workstream Lead by conducting a range of duties to ensure that the new housing management system is delivered to expectations and with quality.
The role involves liaising with Supplier, Project Manager, Supplier Consultants and the end users, in relation to the Allocations module and its associated processes.
Experience within a local authority in regards to provision of council housing and associated services is essential as well as experience of subject matter area and related information management systems.
You must have effective IT, communication, letter, and report writing skills with the ability to make decisions using your own initiative.
You must also possess the ability to organize your own workload and work to deadlines; and be able to work within a multi-function team.
HNC / Diploma in Housing/relevant equivalent is essential or you must be willing to work towards if not already in possession of.
If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
