Job Description Planner Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Planner to join a friendly and collaborative Production team. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in creating, maintaining, and communicating production plans, collaborating with various teams to ensure on-time delivery and continuous improvement. Benefits Up to £32,500 depending on experience 8% bonus potential Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week Flexible start/finish times: start between 7am-9am and finish 3pm-5pm Free car parking Discount Scheme Responsibilities Create, maintain, and communicate production plans considering various factors such as manpower, equipment, raw materials, and sales forecast Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align plans with changes and compliance requirements Analyse risks and propose solutions to potential bottlenecks and downtimes Monitor plan delivery and incorporate improvements into future plans Complete analysis and reporting requirements, presenting data clearly within emails and meetings Review new sales orders and provide practical promise dates to the sales team Collaborate with Planning and Project Management teams to ensure production readiness and resolve conflicts Maintain capacity analysis to ensure proper staffing, machine scheduling, and utilization Support ERP setup, maintenance, and improvements Drive a continuous improvement ethos through own actions and contributions Qualifications Proven experience in production planning and scheduling Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Proficiency in ERP systems and capacity analysis tools Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment If you are ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role in production planning, apply now We do our best to make our adverts as specific as possible so that you do not waste your time applying for roles which are not a match.
