Key Responsibilities
·Lead the electrical design process for a variety of building services projects from concept to completion.
·Develop detailed designs using the latest software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, ElectricalOM, Dialux).
·Oversee the production of technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
·Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other project stakeholders.
·Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team.
·Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
·Attend client meetings and represent the consultancy in a professional manner.
·Contribute to sustainability-focused designs and low-energy solutions.
About you
·A degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
·3-6 years of experience in electrical building services design within an MEP consultancy environment.
·Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ElectricalOM, and Dialux.
·Excellent knowledge of British Standards, Building Regulations, and CIBSE guides.
·Proven experience delivering projects in various sectors, such as commercial or residential.
·Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly.
