This position is fulltime permanent, and the successful candidate will be based from our Vulcan Profiles site in Hornby, Christchurch.
Requirements
This will suit a hands-on person who has a problem-solving brain and good attention to detail. You will like working with equipment/machinery and have a good mathematical ability. You will be responsible for programming and setup of the machine, monitoring the workflow of the machine, and identifying and reporting any issues. We would like the operator to have a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience on a Press brake Machine for this role in a manufacturing capacity.
You will need to be
1. Reliable
2. Have a minimum of 2 years experience on a Press brake machine in a manufacturing/production environment folding Mild Steel
3. Able to work overtime when required (plenty of overtime available)
4. Available for night shift 4.15pm - 2.45am Mon - Thu (4 x 10 hour days)
5. Have a full class 1 licence and transport to and from work
6. A competitive hourly rate is on offer depending on level of experience
7. We pay time and half for any overtime hours above 40hrs.
8. We are an Accredited Company and able to accept people on AEWV
Role is available for an immediate start and as part of the recruitment process we will conduct a pre-employment drug screen.
