About the role
Star is seeking a dynamic and experienced administrator to work within the Teaching School Hub central team in Blackburn. The role will include a range of administrative duties supporting the coordination of the Appropriate Body Service and related programmes, delivered to schools nationally. The role will include managing communications with schools and other stakeholders and providing high quality customer service to a range of stakeholders from the education sector.
The successful applicant will join an ambitious and enthusiastic team of highly professional managers who support the DfE’s teacher retention and recruitment strategy.
The role is ideal for those with administrative experience who have managed a varied and fast-paced environment successfully delivering services to clients in a professional sector and can operate within local, regional and national contexts.
You will be working for one of the highest performing multi-academy trusts in the country with over 20,000 pupils in 36 primary and secondary schools across five regions in the UK.
Who we’re looking for
You will be able to provide the skills and knowledge required to effectively manage the demands of a busy office environment dealing with both internal and external queries and support the coordination of services and programmes.
To ensure sector engagement you should be able to demonstrate attention to detail, be highly responsive to the TSH Network’s priorities, ensure deadlines are met and actions are completed in both a timely and responsive fashion, enabling the team to work as effectively as possible.
You will have:
* Relevant qualifications including 5 GCSEs A* to C (of which two must be maths and English).
* Experience in an administrative setting.
* Experience of using management information systems and MS Office.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Highly effective organisational skills.
* Strong commitment to the Trust values of ‘Service’, ‘Teamwork’, ‘Ambition’ and ‘Respect’.
