Winner Education are seeking an experienced Business Studies Teacher to work in an Alternative Provision school in based in South Birmingham. We are looking to appoint the successful candidate on a long-term basis to start immediately with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate. This school have a fantastic reputation for supporting their staff with career development and internal training and support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Carry about class teacher responsibilities
Plan and deliver high quality lessons to KS4 and KS5 pupils
Deliver GCSE and BTEC curriculum
Encourage a positive, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Contribute to the overall Business Studies curriculum
Provide regular learner assessments and progress reports
Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare
The successful Business Studies Teacher must:
Have previous experience within business studies and secondary school environment
Hold a QTS or equivalent qualification
Hold a Business Studies degree or equivalent
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Form excellent relationships with the school team and pupil parents
Show strong resilience and patience
