Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established racking supplier who require a new racking inspector to visit customer sites both regionally and nationally. The company are ideally looking for a SEMA qualified inspector but would also consider others from another technical racking background looking to become SEMA approved. Responsibilities
Carrying out inspections on racking & storage equipment and drawing up reports accordingly
Providing clients with technical support and advice throughout the inspection process
Developing a relationship with clients on site and being the face of the company
Reporting back to the General Manager on a weekly basis with reports
Occasionally spending nights away for clients based further afield Requirements
Our client is ideally looking for an individual who is SEMA qualified with experience of working as a racking inspector before. This experience, however, is by no means essential and the company are willing to consider candidates looking to move into this role who are also prepared to take up the qualifications. However, you will need to have some experience of racking inspections. The salary paid will reflect your qualifications. You will need to be based centrally in the Midlands as there will be requirements to go to the company’s office.
