Job summary Stafford Health & Wellbeing is looking for a GP to come and join our friendly enthusiastic team. Sessions are open to negotiation. Due to ongoing new developments around Stafford which also reflects our new modern/purpose built GP surgery comprising of 11 consulting rooms, 4 treatment rooms, phlebotomy room in addition to multiple administrative offices. Consideration for newly qualified GPs to participate in GP Fellowship alongside our existing staff. As an established GP training practice we welcome participation in mentoring and supporting GP Registrars in a protected rotational basis including Medical Students. Main duties of the job In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make him/her-self available to undertake a variety of duties. One on call session rotational morning or afternoon, triaging patient requests and sharing home visits between our variety of allied health professionals including Advanced Nurse Practitioners/Physician Associates and GPs. 15 minute Face to Face consultations, dependant on complexity. Checking and signing repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, Reporting on patient test results as the requestor or as Duty Dr to action any urgency necessary. Recording clear and contemporaneous I.T. based consultation notes to agreed standards with (Emis Web). Undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care. About us Our practice currently comprises clinically of 8 GPs (2 GP Partners & 6 Salaried GPs), 2 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 1 Physician Associate, 1 Clinical Pharmacist, 3 Practice Nurses, 1 Healthcare Assistant and a Phlebotomist. Our list size is currently 13,314 patients. Including various ARRS roles, 1 First Contact Physiotherapist, 2 Mental Health Practitioners, 2 Community Link Advisor, Patient Care Administrator, Physician Associate, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacy Technician.
