Meridian has an exciting opportunity to join our team in the role of Sales & Shipping Coordinator.
The role:
The Sales & Shipping Coordinator is responsible for managing all orders from beginning to end.
The role involves processing orders, organising shipments, invoicing and regularly communicating with customers, suppliers, couriers and colleagues regarding sales orders, shipments, payments, and invoice queries.
Main duties:
* Scheduling and coordinating UK & International shipments, including preparing and submitting the necessary documents and commercial invoices for customs clearance
* Regularly liaising with the Sales, Production, Warehouse and Accounts teams to ensure the on-time shipment and invoicing of all products and spare parts
* Managing all activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle, including instructing and working collaboratively with couriers and working closely with the warehouse team to ensure all orders are fulfilled to agreed timelines and standards.
* Maintaining the Accounts Receivable ledger by processing and posting receipts, raising invoices, taking payments, and raising credit notes.
* Processing orders, allocating stock, raising Purchase orders and sending production orders.
* Working closely with the Sales team to manage stock allocation, shipments and lead times on orders.
* Working with and reviewing shipping documents such as Bill of Ladings, commercial invoices, packing list, certificates of origin, etc and ensuring that correct paperwork is in place.
* The successful person will build strong relationships with our network of dealers and distributors.
* Work closely with the Sales team and the Warehouse team.
* Supporting the Accounts Payable function as required including, distributing invoices to Heads of Departments, ensuring invoices match purchase orders and dealing with AP queries where required.
* General administrative tasks
Experience
* Working with customs and coordinating international shipments
* Managing the entire sales orders process from order placement to delivery
* Experience in ERP systems (Syspro 8 and/or Salesforce experience beneficial)

This role is based at our HQ in Huntingdon 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break.
25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, rising to 27 days per year after 2 years' service.
