A client within the Public Sector based in Greater Manchester is currently recruiting for a Repairs Team Leader to join their team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.
The Role
Key purpose of the role is to work as part of the Repairs and Maintenance team, managing a team of construction trades overseeing Health and Safety.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing productivity and performance.
2. Dealing with customer queries and concerns.
3. Ensuring the team's compliance records are kept up to date.
4. Ordering materials and managing the day-to-day operations of the team.
5. Working closely with the Repairs Management team.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require a CSCS card as well as a full, clean driving licence. It will be essential to have experience in the following areas:
1. Manual handling and asbestos awareness training as a minimum.
2. Relevant Team Leading/Supervisory experience working in a construction environment.
3. Previous experience of working in a similar role.
Salary
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £22 p/h Umbrella Ltd. (£18 p/h PAYE).
