Activities Leader – Leading Children’s Play and Sport Provision Company
After school hours: 3:15pm-5:30pm
Salary: £11.44 +LW per hour depending on age and experience
We are recruiting for the leading provider of out of school hours childcare for primary school children in the UK. This company continues to grow in size, quality and scope every year and is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about children’s play and activity, and someone who can inspire the generation of children!
As a Play Worker, you don't necessarily need any specific experience, but you will ideally have:
1. A Passion for Working with Children: Provide inclusive, fun, and engaging provision for the children in your care, while inspiring them to explore their interests.
2. Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills: Assist with the planning and delivery of activities with structure and enthusiasm. This includes a wide range of activities, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime, and structured play.
3. Responsibility and Reliability: Ensure the safety and enjoyment of the children in your care, following specific policies and procedures, including completing Accident and Incident Forms and Health & Safety checks as needed.
4. Communication and Engagement: Conduct yourself professionally and communicate effectively with all team members, parents, children, and schools on a daily basis.
