Customer Advisor - Private Medical Insurance - Starting salary between £25,100 to £28,500 (depending on hours, skills, and experience) plus additional benefits

A bit about the job
You will be working within a fast-paced, busy telephony-driven role to guide and support customers through their health claims journey, whether confirming appointments, resolving bill queries, or assisting with overnight care, outpatient treatment, diagnostic tests, scans, or aftercare. You will help and support our customers to access the specialist private treatment they need. Part of this role involves handling customer dissatisfaction, with support from your team.

Our standard full-time contracts are for 35 hours per week, with options for part-time work after the initial 18-week full-time training period. We also offer the option to increase your working hours to a 40-hour contract with an enhanced salary of up to £31,200.
Flexible shift patterns are available between 08:00 - 18:30, Monday to Friday, with one Saturday shift every six weeks from 09:00 - 13:00.
Skills and experience we're looking for
* Excellent communication skills and previous experience in a customer service-related role
* The ability to be empathetic towards customers, supporting them through difficult times while making their claim journey easy and building loyalty
* A good fact finder - asking the right questions at the right time to process claims efficiently
* Meticulous and detail-oriented, checking facts and asking questions to make accurate decisions about claims
* Knowledge of insurance products/financial services is a plus but not essential
