The Social Worker Degree Apprenticeship is a three-year practice-based learning programme that combines on- and off-the-job learning and development, delivered flexibly around the demands of your workplace. As an apprentice in one of our locality teams you will develop the skills and knowledge to become a qualified social worker.
Through Successful Completion Of This Apprenticeship, You Will Gain
1. Practice experience and evidence of assessed competency in the workplace
2. A professionally qualifying degree in Social Work
3. The right to register with Social Work England and practice as a newly qualified social worker
In Dorset, The Requirement Is That Candidates Have
1. Right to work in the UK
2. GCSE equivalent in Maths and English
3. A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a face-to-face role with individuals and you must be able to demonstrate the potential to study at undergraduate degree level.
