Training and Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Completion/close to completion of the IBMS registration portfolio for the certificate of competence.
2. HCPC registration or working towards HCPC registration within the next 6 months
3. IBMS Accredited Biomedical Science degree (or completion of top-up modules)
4. Demonstrates a commitment to continuing education/training/relevant CPD
Experience
Essential criteria
1. Experience working within a Clinical Laboratory in a healthcare setting.
2. Knowledge of appropriate laboratory techniques, including Flow Cytometry and Morphological staining.
3. Able to demonstrate competency in appropriate laboratory techniques.
4. Awareness of the laboratory quality processes.
Desirable criteria
1. Experience of flow cytometry within a clinical setting.
2. Awareness of method development and new technologies
