Visual Projects Coordinator
Job Introduction
Job Purpose:
A key role within the Visual Projects team that plays a vital part of the creative driving force within the physical space at Selfridges. Working closely with the Visual Projects team and the wider Design teams in the business the Visual Projects Coordinator will plan, produce and install exceptional project delivery across all stores which assists in promoting our brand positioning and vision and purpose to provide our customers with extraordinary experiences.
Job Scope:
We are looking for an experienced project coordinator who will consistently drive and maintain world-class standards. With a hand’s on approach and flexible management style we are looking for a person that has the following skills:
1. The ability to manage assorted projects simultaneously and independently.
2. Managing relationships with internal teams, brands, contractors & suppliers
3. Effective & efficient communication with line manager on current focus, priorities and current workload.

Service
9. Have a good understanding of new production techniques and materials to ensure we are always pushing the boundaries and communicating this to the wider creative community
10. Supports the Visual Projects team on all expenditure, including, expenses, invoices, purchase orders. Maintaining all trackers for schemes and projects.
11. Working on the practical realisation of projects, delivering a material board for all schemes that is rolled out across all Creative departments for consistency.
12. Liaising with suppliers to resolve all elements of build & achieving a high level of finish on all projects
13. Working out of hours where necessary to ensure smooth delivery of installations
14. Consider both the internal and external customer in all activities.
Product
15. Works with line manager to identify areas to be developed, propose ideas and costs to do so
16. Being well informed through research on all exciting and ground-breaking art installations and events that use ‘spectacle’ and immersive experience effectively.
Environment
17. Ensure Visual Projects prop room and tool kits are organised to raise efficiency and effectiveness.
18. Manages and maintains the Property Design material library
19. Looks for and introduces ways to improve efficiency
20. Adheres to H & S standards, policies and procedures
Profit
21. Contributing to the upkeep of trackers for Visual Projects
22. Ensuring the Purchase Order & tracker system is adhered to for all orders
23. Manage invoice sign off & any discrepancies in ordering process
Key Skills:
24. Great planning, time management, prioritising and organisational skills
25. Ability to work as an individual and part of a team
26. Creative understanding & ability to translate this into practical solutions
27. Good communication skills and the ability to connect with different levels of the business
28. Skills required – AutoCAD / Vectorworks, Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, InDesign.
29. Support project planning by creating layouts and capacity plans in cad.
