We are delighted to supporting a market leading 3PL in their search for a Warehouse Team Leader. Our client is a certified ‘Great Place to Work’, this means that you will be working in an environment built on trust and engagement, and the level of training and support you will receive in this role will be second to none.
Hours of work are; Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm. Supporting both the morning and backshift teams.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Inbound / Goods In team, ensuring all activities are completed to a high standard. Some of the other duties include;
Allocating work to colleagues and managing resources to ensure quality work can be done.
Keeping accurate stock records using WMS systems.
Ensure quality standards and operating processes are adhered to, providing on the spot coaching and feedback to your team.
Support with appraisals, return to work, authorising holidays, and performance management for the site.
Always maintaining health and safety process.
To be considered for this role you will need…
A positive ‘Can Do’ attitude and the ability to support change in processes.
Experience of working in a Goods In / Inbound department within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
A consistent, methodical approach to allocating work and managing quality standards.
Experience of working to KPIs and Customer Service Levels – SLAs.
Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements within a warehouse operation.
The Package:
Salary of £27,750
Annual Bonus which pays year in, year out.
