Requirements
We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Social Media Executive to join our busy Marketing and Events team. Student recruitment is the team’s primary objective and reaching applicants through inspiring and relevant content and communications is imperative to connecting with our audience and converting them into students.
At ICMP we’re fortunate to have an abundance of high-quality music and academic content, coming from multiple sources – students, alumni, tutors, facilities, guests and industry partnerships. This role will oversee a range of tasks from conceiving and publishing content, to communicating key information and messaging to our current students.
OUR IDEAL NEW TEAM MEMBER
Time management, organisation and communication skills are critical to the role, along with accuracy and attention to detail. You’ll also have a good eye for aesthetics and be familiar with a range of different content types across social media channels.
You’ll understand that a great content strategy is not just about creation, it’s about optimisation and distribution too. As such, you know that search is critical and you’ll have a basic understanding of SEO, working alongside the wider team you’ll actively seek out opportunities and optimise existing content accordingly for sharing across social media platforms.
You’ll love words, be passionate about music and enjoy actively staying abreast of trends - in marketing, social media and culture in general. You’ll be results-driven and always striving for improvement, using reporting tools such as Google Analytics to monitor performance and identify opportunities, along with reporting within native social media platforms.

Salary: Up to £28,713 (dependent on experience)
Where hybrid working can be accommodated, specific arrangements will be agreed with the successful candidate before their start date. Regardless of where colleagues are working, ICMP, premises will be their primary and contractual place of work.
