Interim Management Accountant
Location: Bodmin Area, Cornwall
Type: Interim (Contract)
Duration: Until June/July
Rate: £250 - £350 per day (depending on experience)
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
About the Role:
Hays are working with a dynamic manufacturing organisation based in the Bodmin area of Cornwall, seeking an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join our team. This role is crucial to support the clients year-end processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in their financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with year-end financial processes and reporting
2. Prepare and review financial statements
3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
4. Provide detailed analysis and insights to support decision-making
5. Collaborate with various departments to gather and validate financial data
6. Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a similar role, particularly with year-end processes
2. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
