The post holder will be part of the Kent and Medway Single Point of Access (SPA) for young people. The service manages all referrals for young people in Kent and Medway with emotional wellbeing, mental health and neurodevelopmental concerns. Providing clinical leadership, support and guidance to team members and Trust staff and ensuring a client focused service., The post holder will work in close collaboration with the SPA manager and develop positive working relationships with senior staff across the Kent and Medway CAMHS teams
* To be responsible for the day to day organising, prioritising, and allocating of workloads in line with Key Performance Indicators
* To have oversite of the demands of the SPA, including referrals for mental health, referrals for Neurodevelopment, and the 111 mental health crisis line.
* To work in close collaboration with the service managers advising of current demands, work allocation, challenges, and solutions
* To promote the development of an effective team and the development of productive working relationships throughout the Trust
* To advise, encourage and share knowledge utilising the latest research and practice development, through literature and peer reviews.
* To provide patients and relatives with information and education thus ensuring they have meaningful choices that promote dignity, independence, and quality of life
The post-holder will be a post-graduate qualified practitioner fully registered with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (e.g., HCPC, NMC). and should have clinical experience in the screening and assessment of children and young peoples mental health difficulties., The post holder will be expected to support their team, department and organisation to achieve the Trust's Values in their day to day work.
