Role and Responsibilities: As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for:
* Performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts.
* Producing high-quality diagnostic images to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
* Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound results.
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.
* Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
* Participating in quality assurance and service development initiatives.
* Traveling to various community sites to deliver services.
Essential Criteria: To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A degree or diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or other relevant regulatory body.
* Experience in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* A valid driver’s license and access to a car, as the role involves visiting various community sites.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience with advanced ultrasound techniques and procedures.
* Proficiency in working with specialized ultrasound equipment.
