Quality Control Analyst - Procurement
Location: Bristol, BS13
Contract: Full time, 12-month FTC with potential for extension
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Start Date: June 2025
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Control Analyst to join our client's Finance and Procurement department. The Procurement department is responsible for providing purchasing support and negotiating with third-party suppliers for all goods and services across all business units and functions globally.
We seek a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Analyst to operate at a global level, ensuring compliance with internal, legal, regulatory, and customer requirements. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial operations, including reviewing financial records, analyzing data, and contributing to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Review and Analysis: Examine financial records, transactions, and reports to identify errors, inconsistencies, or deviations from policies and procedures.
2. Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, verifying correct entry and processing.
3. Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
4. Process Improvement: Identify areas for streamlining and optimizing processes, contributing to continuous improvement.
5. Reporting: Prepare reports and summaries of findings, providing insights into financial quality and efficiency.
6. Support: Assist the Procurement Centre of Excellence in quality review of Purchase Requisitions.
7. Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external partners to ensure Purchase Requisitions meet documented requirements.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in Procurement, Accounts Payable, or Accounting.
* Proven experience in roles involving customer or client communication, with relationship-building skills.
* Exceptional communication skills for efficient and effective articulation.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience with Oracle Fusion is highly beneficial.
* Attention to detail in identifying faults and trends, with corrective actions.
* Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.
* Successful candidates will need to pass vetting checks, including DBS and credit checks.
