Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm)
Salary: £33,000.00 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Property Compliance Officer to join our growing team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our property portfolio complies with all relevant legislation, with a strong focus on fire safety. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to a vital aspect of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fire Safety Compliance:
Conduct fire safety risk assessments and audits across our property portfolio.
Develop and implement fire safety policies and procedures.
Advise on the application and interpretation of fire safety legislation.
Investigate fire safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
2. Property Compliance:
Review and assess properties to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., building regulations, health and safety).
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on compliance matters.
Contribute to the development and improvement of compliance processes.
3. Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance activities.
Prepare reports and conduct data analysis as required.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Essential Skills & Experience:
1. Strong understanding of fire safety legislation and best practices.
2. Experience in conducting fire safety risk assessments.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
1. NEBOSH Fire Safety Certificate or equivalent.
2. Experience working within the housing or property management sector.
3. Knowledge of other relevant health and safety legislation.
