A growing M&E company are looking for a dynamic and experienced Mechanical Site Buyer to join our team. Role Overview: As a Mechanical Site Buyer, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating mechanical materials for site-based projects. You will play a critical role in ensuring cost efficiency, supplier reliability, and quality compliance while working closely with site teams to meet project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Source and procure mechanical parts, components, and raw materials in line with site project requirements. Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best pricing, lead times, and terms. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing. Collaborate with engineering, site managers, and supply chain teams to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies for procurement efficiency. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Manage inventory levels on-site to prevent shortages or excess stock. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and alternative products. Requirements: Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally within a mechanical or construction site environment. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple suppliers and procurement projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced site environment. Desirable Qualifications: Times served or A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
