About the role
As a Salesforce Functional (Business Analyst) within PwC’s Customer Led Transformation team, you will help clients leverage Salesforce technology to enhance customer experiences, enable sustainable change, and deliver effective and well-designed solution outcomes This role balances functional and technical delivery with strong client management. You will be the primary contact for clients, responsible for project scope, requirements, and Salesforce solutions. You will manage projects throughout the lifecycle, from pre-sales and discovery to development, testing, deployment, and training.
What your days will look like
Development of Client Solutions:
* Lead and facilitate discovery and design workshops to gather and document client requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
* Analyse client needs and translate them into functional specifications for Salesforce solutions.
* Collaborate and build strong relationships with stakeholders to design Salesforce solutions and processes that meet business requirements, focusing on functionality and user experience.
* Contribute to the estimation process for project phases, including discovery, pre-build, and build, ensuring accurate and feasible timelines.
* Support all testing phases and manage feedback loops to refine solutions.
* Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and support user adoption strategies to maximise platform utilisation.
* Identify opportunities for platform enhancements and recommend new features to drive business value.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process documentation and user guides.
* Advocate for and implement best practices and design guidelines.
Commercial
* Support the pre-sales process by contributing to the development of proposals for new business opportunities.
* Collaborate with the sales team to present functional solutions and proposals to clients.
* Review pre-sales proposals to ensure functional accuracy and alignment with client needs.
* Work closely with the commercial team to ensure a seamless transition from sales to delivery.
* Collaborate with engagement leadership to develop accurate resource plans that meet project needs and maintain profitability.
* Balance functional requirements with commercial considerations to ensure successful project delivery.
General
* Gain and maintain certifications in selected Salesforce products
* Maintain and improve internal team skills, processes and ways of working.
* Manage, mentor and coach other colleagues.
* Participate in the PwC culture, practices and teams.
This role is for you if
* Experience in business analyst roles, with logical and analytical abilities, with a strong focus on detail.
* Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable implementation designs.
* You have a genuine passion for solving business problems, both process and technical.
* You possess an advanced understanding of Salesforce configurations and a background in CRM process design and implementation.
* You have strong presentation and communication skills
* Experience with Salesforce Industry Clouds preferred
