Job Summary
As an HR & Quality Control Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our workforce remains compassionate, competent, and compliant while maintaining the high standards that Gentle Hands Care is renowned for. You will bridge HR management and quality control to create a harmonious, well-supported team and ensure our care services excel in every aspect.
Responsibilities
* Deliver HR Excellence: Manage recruitment, onboarding, and inductions to ensure all hires embody our values.
* Training Champion: Oversee training compliance using platforms like iHASCO to ensure all staff are well-equipped to deliver safe, effective care.
* Quality Assurance Leader: Conduct audits of care plans, service delivery, and performance to maintain regulatory compliance and uphold the highest standards.
* Problem Solver: Investigate and resolve complaints and quality issues professionally, ensuring positive outcomes for clients and staff.
* Supportive Mentor: Conduct supervisions, probation reviews, and appraisals to foster staff growth and development.
* Rota Management: Ensure efficient rota planning that meets client needs while supporting staff work-life balance.
* Inspection Ready: Prepare for Care Inspectorate assessments, ensuring all compliance requirements are met.
* Team Builder: Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and respect across the organisation.
Minimum Requirements
* Full UK Driver’s Licence: Ability to travel to various locations as required.
* HR or Quality Management Qualification: CIPD Level 3 or higher preferred.
* Experience: Proven background in HR or quality assurance, ideally within the health or social care sector.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with Care Inspectorate standards, SSSC codes of practice, and employment law.
* Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
* Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with HR systems (e.g., BrightHR) and care platforms (e.g., Birdie).
* Compassionate Heart: Embodying patience, integrity, and respect in every interaction.
Additional Information
* All employees must complete mandatory training provided by Gentle Hands Care.
* Registration with the SSSC is required at the appropriate time, with adherence to their Code of Conduct.
* Prior to an offer of employment, the following must be satisfied:
* Two satisfactory references
* Satisfactory PVG certificate
* Compliance with the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996
* Satisfactory medical clearance
* Qualification/SSSC registration (if applicable).
