A great opportunity for an experienced IT support professional who enjoys working directly with end users. This fully on-site role involves providing day-to-day technical support at a single client location, handling everything from walk-up queries and inductions to break-fix incidents and small project work.
What you’ll be doing:
* Troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues
* Responding to ad-hoc walk-ins from staff with IT problems
* Delivering IT inductions for new starters
* Managing and prioritising your own queue of tickets
* Maintaining a strong first-time fix rate
* Building and maintaining good working relationships with the client
* Escalating issues where needed and supporting wider project work
* Keeping documentation accurate and up to date
* Supporting and mentoring 1st line colleagues where possible
What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in a similar support role
* Strong troubleshooting skills and a calm, methodical approach
* Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows systems, and cloud technologies (e.g. Intune, Azure)
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Understanding of network infrastructure
* A proactive attitude and willingness to keep learning
