About the Role
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? We are currently seeking experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team, supporting students aged 6 to 19 with a range of learning difficulties, including autism, complex medical conditions, and sensory/physical impairments.
In this role, you will provide essential support in a highly specialised learning environment, helping students to manage sensory overload, anxiety, and transitions while working towards their personal and educational goals. You'll be working both inside the classroom and within the wider community to create a positive and empowering environment for all learners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide tailored support to students in their learning, development, and progress across all areas of the curriculum.
2. Assist students with personal and educational goals, particularly those with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.
3. Promote an environment that values equality, diversity, and respect for all.
4. Play a proactive role in fostering a positive learning environment, supporting students in developing confidence and independence.
5. Participate in physical intervention and personal care routines as required.
6. Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure the best outcomes for students, focusing on their transition into adult life.

13. Educated to at least Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent).
