Area Sales Manager - Leicester and surrounding areas
We are keen to speak with experienced Area Sales Managers. Our ideal candidate will have experience within the Engineering, Maintenance, and servicing field.
In your role as a Sales Area Manager, you will be responsible for generating revenue by creating opportunities and finding new business within an assigned geographical area. You will also manage existing accounts and implement and execute strategies to achieve sales targets.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
1. Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with key customers.
2. Travelling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
3. Utilising outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.
4. Preparing concise sales reports to feed into the Sales Director.
5. Planning, researching, and executing potential sales opportunities to drive profitable market share growth for the business.
6. Consistently delivering against set goals and targets.
7. Performing any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Sales Director.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1. Proven sales experience within the engineering industry.
2. Knowledge of industry and markets.
3. Strong track record in relationship building.
4. Proactive approach to drive sales forward.
5. Organised and planned approach to creating sales opportunities.
6. Ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
7. Ability to take ownership and accountability.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
9. Driving licence as travel is required within your region.
10. Great problem solver and able to work under pressure, providing solutions.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
