Our client, a specialist manufacturing business based in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time HR Administrator to join their busy HR team. This role is essential in supporting the HR Manager in developing and implementing effective HR administration processes, ensuring the organisation meets its strategic objectives.
Salary: £24,000-£25,000
Hours: Part-Time, 25 hours per week over 4-5 days
Key Responsibilities:
• Payroll Tracking: Input and maintain payroll-related trackers (e.g., Maternity, RTW, new starters) with precision and accuracy.
• Employment Contracts: Create and manage employment contracts for any changes.
• Employee Documentation: File employee-related documentation on employee records efficiently.
• HRIS Maintenance: Update and maintain the HR Information System (HRIS) with accurate employee data, including personal information, changes of condition, probation periods, and leavers.
• Compliance: Ensure the maintenance of employee files aligns with GDPR, CQC requirements, and best practices.
• Appraisal Reports: Update monthly appraisal reports and distribute them to relevant People & Culture Partners and operational management.
• ID Documentation: Accurately verify, record, and collate ID documentation.
• Information Provision: Provide accurate information to managers and employees regarding terms and conditions when required.
• Correspondence Generation: Generate general correspondence, including letters, minutes, emails, and reports with consistency and accuracy.
• General Administration: Perform filing, photocopying, scanning, and general administrative duties as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
• Experience: Previous experience working within an HR team is preferred.
• Knowledge: Understanding of GDPR, data input, and data management.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
