Electrical Estimator Wanted in Dartford, Kent!
Are you an experienced Electrical Estimator seeking a new and exciting opportunity? Our client, a leading M&E Contractor, is looking for a talented individual to join their Design & Estimating team. This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Position: Electrical Estimator Location: Dartford, Kent Department: Design & Estimating Hours: Full Time, 08:00am – 17:00pm Employment Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet with clients to understand the “Employers Requirements”.
* Produce Scope of Works.
* Develop full tender submissions with internal support.
* Create bill of quantities, schedules of work, and contractor’s proposal documents to support quotations & tender proposals.
* Prepare bill of materials & call-off sheets.
* Review employer’s requirements, specifications, drawings, tender clarifications, and other relevant documents.
* Ensure all tender submissions are comprehensively reviewed and quality checked.
* Attend pre & post tender meetings and site reviews as required.
* Provide support and guidance to onsite engineers as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
* Circa. 5 years of commercial & industrial estimating experience.
* 18th edition qualified.
* Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* (Preferable) Minimum of 10 years Electrical experience (C&G 2357 - NVQ Level 3).
* (Preferable) Experience in submitting M&E Tender submissions.
* (Preferable) Knowledge of Amtech software and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
