Lead Software Engineer
£70,000-£75,000
High Wycombe - 2 Days a week in the office!
Are you a Senior or Lead Developer looking for an opportunity to progress? Have you previously lead teams, mentored juniors or owned technical projects and looking for something more official?
We have partnered with a well established business within the Sports Industry who’ve been going since 1991 and are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join their growing team in High Wycombe!
The company have grown steadily in the last 12months with a 25% increase in headcount with similar growth projected by the summer of 2025. This growth has resulted in 3-4 new products being launched across the company which has increased the workload on the development team and this where this role comes in!
We are looking for someone who is still very much hands on, has some form of leadership experience and is very confident with the Microsoft Tech Stack and working on the Frontend. The rough split for this role will initially be 75% coding, 25% management but this will fluctuate depending on project launches.
This role is based in High Wycombe and requires office working of twice a week!
Role Requirements
* Backend Tech Stack: C#, .Net Core, MVC, Web API, SQL, Azure
* Frontend Tech Stack: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, VueJS
* Management expereince - leading, mentoring, coaching, offshore or managing projects.
* Ideally have led small teams of 3-4 in mid-size organizations.
* Confident leading a team across the full SDLC.
* Happy managing teams from a hybrid or remote setting.
* Good collaboration skills with stakeholders, designers, senior team & product managers.
* Ambitions to grow within the business.
* Computer Science or Engineering Degree (Ideal)
Salary: £70,000-£75,000
Interview Process: 2 stages - 1st on Teams, 2nd in the office
Benefits: 21 Days Holiday - can increase to 25, Pension, Bonus Scheme.
