Position : Senior Wind Service Technician
Location : Macarthur Wind Farm, Victoria
Role Overview :
AGL is seeking a qualified Senior Wind Service Technician to join our team to oversee the safe operation and maintenance of equipment at the Macarthur Wind Farm in Victoria. Key Responsibilities :
* Perform routine and breakdown maintenance, servicing, inspection, and monitoring of the turbines.
* Prepare work records and reports, including data entry into SAP.
* Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environment systems and expectations, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and standards.
* Work with service providers and contractors to ensure work is conducted safely and to appropriate standards.
* Help train and mentor employees to upskill the team and continue to exceed safety standards.
Qualifications, Key Skills, and Experience Required :
* High Voltage (HV) certification preferred.
* Understanding of wind farm operations and maintenance is ideal; otherwise, heavy industry is a close second.
* Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
* Experience with HV / LV systems, hydraulics, and mechanical systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial environments.
* Willingness to work at heights and in confined environments. Ready to relocate to Victoria (this is not a FIFO position).
