Job summary We are seeking an administrator in our Medical Education team. This role will have a purpose to undertake administrative activity across the Medical Education Team and support. CPFT is a major provider of undergraduate and postgraduate psychiatry training. Each financial year the Trust receives approximately £3.5 million to provide medical students and trainee doctors with an educational experience that allow them to fulfil their specific curriculum requirements as set out by the General Medical Council. The Medical Education team comprises of the Director of Medical Education (DME), Deputy DME, Medical Education Coordinator, Training Programme Director, and speciality specific Clinical Tutors for post graduate training and undergraduate training. There are also several resident doctors involved in the design and delivery of teaching and training. This role involves a mixture of home and office based working but please note that you must be available to work on site as and when required. Main duties of the job Main duties for the job include supporting with elements of the administration associated with Resident Doctor Induction, course administration, maintaining supplies, submitting requisitions, diarising meetings and supporting with study leave processing amongst other elements outlined below.
