Role Overview The Apprentice Finance Assistant will support our finance team with daily operations while enhancing their knowledge and skills. This role is designed to offer a comprehensive learning experience, ensuring growth and development in the financial sector. Key Responsibilities Assist in processing invoices and matching them with purchase orders. Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Support the team in preparing financial reports and data analysis. Assist with reconciling bank statements and expense reports. Learn and understand the company’s accounting software and systems. Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed. Qualifications and Skills GCSEs in Mathematics and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent. Keen interest in finance and accounting with a willingness to learn. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team. Training and Development The successful applicant will be enrolled in a relevant finance apprenticeship program, providing both on-the-job experience and formal learning. This will involve structured training sessions, professional mentorship, and the opportunity to gain a recognized qualification in finance.
