We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reflective lecturer to teach Criminology as part of the A Level curriculum. The successful candidate will have access to a range of high-quality resources and be expected to make a major contribution to a team of well qualified and extremely dedicated staff within the Humanities Division. In addition to Criminology, opportunities to deliver on other programmes within Humanities and across the college may be possible. You are expected to be a student-centred teacher with a good level of organisation, sound classroom management skills and a strong academic background in Criminology. You will work closely with the team to contribute to the planning and delivery of the course and assessments. You will have a keen interest in, and awareness of contemporary issues, and be able to engage students in the application of these ideas within the wider curriculum. Your enthusiasm should extend to extra-curricular activities such as taking part in visits and encouraging a wider enrichment experience for your students.
