Job Title: Facilities Supervisor – Energy from Waste (EfW) Site (Construction Phase) Location: Lostock Salary: £22 - £26 P/hr CIS Job Type: Contract - 18 month About Us: NRL are currently searching for a Facilities Supervisor to join our clients team who are currently constructing Europe's largest Energy-from-Waste site. Our clients site is currently under construction and will play a vital role in reducing landfill waste while generating renewable energy. We are looking for an experienced Facilities Supervisor to oversee site maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency during the construction phase and transition into full operation. Role Overview: As the Facilities Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting site infrastructure, ensuring safety compliance, and preparing for the transition from construction to full operational status. You will oversee facilities-related activities, coordinate with contractors, and ensure that the site is maintained efficiently during the build phase. Key Responsibilities: Support the construction team by overseeing site infrastructure and temporary facilities maintenance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including construction site protocols. Coordinate and manage external contractors and service providers for site facilities. Assist in the planning and implementation of facility setup for operational readiness. Monitor and manage budgets related to site facilities and maintenance. Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. Support the transition from the construction phase to full operation by establishing maintenance procedures and systems.Requirements: Proven experience in a Facilities Supervisor or similar role, preferably within an industrial, energy, or construction setting. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and contractor management. Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations (e.g., HSE, ISO standards, construction site safety legislation). Ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to site facilities management. Strong communication and leadership skills.
